In Our Stories
This is a series of activities for developing entrepreneurial thinking in children. Step 1: Pose a problem: The teacher poses a problem to the students for which they must propose a solution. For example "Excessive use of harmful foods" Step 2: Students discuss the problem and come up with ways to solve it. Step 3: Turn the idea into a product that would solve the problem. Step 4: They think about implementation questions: Can this product/solution be sold? What will we use the money for? Who can fund the idea? Who would use the product? Why? Step 5: They pitch their idea to potential investors. It is important that when each step is completed, the students do not know the next one. Sometimes the process does not lead to a product, but wonderful initiatives are realized in support of someone.
